So I meant to get this posted yesterday but that didn't happen. Yesterday was my wonderful husband's birthday. We had a wonderful three day weekend together working on the baby's room and taking a little day trip to Kemah and enjoying the boardwalk and some wonderful fresh seafood. We had a wonderful and relaxing time together. I can't thank my husband enough for a great weekend and for being so good to me through the entire IVF and now preganancy journey. There isn't anyone else in this world I could imagine or even want to take this journey with. I love you babe and I hope you had a wonderful 39th Birthday!
I promise to post pics of the baby's room soon when its done as well as some pics of our little miracle from our last appt. I know I am behind schedule since next Tues is our next appt. Until next time.....Blessings to you all!

Doctor Update at 25 weeks
Today's appointment was another great one! I loved seeing my little man again and watching him move all over as I felt him moving too. I tell you I could watch that ultrasound all day everyday and hear that big heartbeat too! What a blessing!
So for the details of today's appointment:
my blood pressure - perfect
my weight gain - 1 more lb
his heart rate - 155
his estimated weight - 1 lb 10 oz
his estimated length - 8-9 inches
my cervix - completely closed
Placenta Previa - on the move......still about 75% covered but it is on the move
So according to the Dr everything looks great with both my health and his health. The good news is it appears that my Placenta Previa will move enough in time for me to give birth. It is on the move although we are not completely out of the woods yet. I am still on all the same restrictions but things look very positive that I won't be forced to have a c-section. We have been praying for this news and it was music to my ears.
I go back to the Dr in 3 weeks and I will have the glucose test as well as a regular Dr appt. After that appointment, I will start seeing her every 2 weeks instead of every 4 weeks! Wow I can't believe we are starting to get that close!
Funny story from the ultrasound today. The tech was doing all her measurements and taking lots of pics and asking me questions. She said, you seem to be confident that its a boy. I said well yes I am. When I was here last time they said they were 100% sure it was a boy! She said, well we never say 100% sure so lets double check to make sure. Then she busted out laughing and said WOW you are right we are 100% sure its a boy! We both laughed for a while on that one. It was amazing to me in 6 short weeks how much more detail could be seen. We got lots of pics and another disc so as soon as I get a moment, I will get them scanned and downloaded and get them posted on here.
Until next time - Blessings to you all!

So much going on....
Last Tuesday before the Dr.
Wow where do I begin. Well first of all last Tuesday I was 23 weeks and our Doctor's appoint was the standard appointment and it went great. He had a heart rate of 157 and is measuring exactly 23 weeks. She said everything looked great and my blood pressure and all vitals were perfect. I have not gained back the weight I lost and as you can see from the pics above I have finally popped. So now we are just waiting for next Tuesday when we have the ultrasound again so that hopefully we will find out the the placenta previa has moved. I am sure next Tuesday will be a long day between all the appointments and the ultrasound and as long as I know it will be, I can't wait to see my little miracle again.
We are getting to work on the nursery and we have been picking up things for his room too over the last few weeks. This weekend we will go and get the paint and wains-coting for his room, then next weekend will be the work weekend. Then next on the list painting the TV armoir that is being turned into and changing station/table and the small chest of drawers that needs to be painted too. Then it will be time to put the bed and the glider together. Wow it seems like time is flying by and we still have so much to do.
We are getting ready for a few showers that will happen in March and April and I am getting really excited about those too. I have some of the best friends and family to take on the task of these baby showers. I love you all and can't thank you enough for everything you are doing for us and our Miracle Boy! I never dreamed I would actually see the day that I would have my very own baby shower!
We had a fun and busy weekend with family visiting but Sunday has to be right up there with one of the best days of my life. I had just been saying Sunday afternoon that I was getting nervous about not feeling my miracle moving around even though the Dr said it would be around 25 weeks before I felt it. Well Angie as always reassured me and we headed home from Target after finishing registering. How funny is it that you find more time in Target to talk to your friends than you do at home when you live right by each other. Anyway, on with the story. I get easily side tracked these days....LOL! So we were in bed Sunday night getting ready to turn the lights off and go to bed and as Chris does every night he rolled over and was rubbing my belly and talking to our miracle. He said and I quote "baby if you are in there and happy please give your mommy a sign so she will calm down" and I kid you not he no more got the words out of his mouth, when his hand was kicked and I mean kicked off my belly. We were in total shock and couldn't believe it. For the next 45 minutes he was kicking field goals and dancing all over the place. It was like someone threw a switch and suddenly I was feeling him constantly. So the last few days have been amazing feeling and also weird feeling. I know that sounds crazy because I have been wanting and praying for this for so long but it still feels a little weird. LOL! But seriously it is the best feeling in the world, except when he kicks something and it hurts but really I wouldn't trade even the pain for anything. Its funny as I type this he is all over the place and I get so distracted when he moves. All I want to do is sit and feel him.
So that's the latest in our world and I have a feeling the next 4 months are going to fly by. We will keep you posted on all of our progress and especially after next weeks appoint which will be 25 weeks.
Until next time Blessings to you All! Love and God Bless!
